Understanding ServiceNow With MTBF (Week 1+2)
Hello to all! I hope everyone had a week filled with lots of success and lots of new information because mine certainly was!
These past two weeks have been nothing short of informative. We began the System Administration segment and used the IT Service Management Guided Setup to assist a company with configuring their info, welcome page and inbound/outbound email notifications.
We also utilized the ServiceNow PDI by creating update sets, users, roles, and groups to later assign those roles to users and groups to allow access for specific individuals involved in our team's implementation project for Starbucks.
In Week Two, we focused more on developing an application for our client. I renamed modules, set roles, added fields via a personalized list, and adjusted the list view and form view for the tables that were created. The goal was to improve order accuracy, speed, and reduce the labor costs amongst the client's employees.
I struggled in finding my way around ServiceNow at first, but I kept on singing and I kept on coming in the words of Dianne Williams and it worked out in the end! Very thrilled to have completed the first couple weeks of this tech journey!
